Youth Opportunities

• Organize an equipment donation drive. We are in need of new and gently-used athletic and musical equipment (see Donate tab for specifics). Email or call to learn more!
• Volunteer on a weekly or bi-monthly basis at Youth Advantage where you will help make the gently-used equipment look like new so that the child who needs it feels excitement and pride when he/she wears it for the first time. Once the equipment has been spiffed up, we need help organizing the equipment on our shelves.

Adult Opportunities

• Volunteer on a weekly or bi-monthly basis at Youth Advantage assisting children in finding the equipment they need from our shelves of donated equipment. You will work one-on-one with the child and his/her parent in "shopping" our shelves for the equipment he/she needs for their activity. You will help the child find, fit, and check out the equipment that will enable the child to participate in the extracurricular activity!
• If you want to volunteer and have something else in mind, please call us as we will never turn down a willing helper!

A Soulful Summer Celebration to Benefit Youth Advantage

05.01.2011– Did you leave your heart in San Francisco? Do you wish you could hop a plane and spend a weekend in Napa Valley? We do, too!

Rock the Cause, Youth Advantage and Saint Croix Vineyards are proud to host the second annual Rock the Vine Music Festival at Saint Croix Vineyards on Saturday, June 4, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Top local and regional artists will come together for an afternoon of music, food, wine tastings and more--all while benefiting a great cause.

Set within the heart of the St. Croix River Valley, wine and music lovers will be treated to wine, blues, and soul in the picturesque surroundings of this lush Minnesota vineyard.

Rock the Cause will celebrate the legacy of American Soul, Folk, R&B, with music of all genres featuring Roster McCabe, Cadillac Kolstad, Devine Collection, Pictures of Then, and The Fattenin' Frogs!

Saint Croix Vineyards has generously agreed to donate 50% of all wine sales the day of the event, and the proceeds will benefit Youth Advantage.

Youth Advantage is a nonprofit organization that provides access to opportunities for school-age children to pursue their passions in arts, athletics, and educational extracurricular activities by providing financially-challenged families with scholarships and the equipment necessary to participate in activities.

We want to ensure that every dollar raised from Rock the Vine goes to support the important work of Youth Advantage and are in search of sponsors to help cover our event costs.
